What if I don't want to do the three month program - can I still come in for acupuncture?
Yes of course! Many people come to the clinic simply for the acupuncture. Joining the Three Month Program is optional, the other option is to pay for your treatments as you go. Every appointment lasts for about an hour and is $85.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes -- all major credit cards are accepted.
Will I become pregnant in three months?
While each person begins in a different place, most women become pregnant within three months of regular acupuncture treatments and eating nourishing foods. For some it may take longer. Ultimately, only your body knows when it is ready to receive a pregnancy and in the meantime, you will be preparing your body to have a strong and healthy baby.
What are treatments like?
During your first appointment we will speak at length about your health history, your fertility concerns, and any other concerns you have. You will have an opportunity to see how seemingly unrelated health concerns may all be part of an underlying imbalance that can be corrected with acupuncture.
The second appointment and thereafter, you will receive a full acupuncture treatment. Often tiny disposable needles are inserted and occasionally moxa is used. Moxa is a warming herb that is placed on the skin during treatment. Every treatments lasts for approximately one hour.
How will I know if acupuncture is helping me?
There are many signs that your body is becoming more fertile. You may notice that your menstrual cycle is more regulated and easier. You may notice that you mood is improved and that you are sleeping more soundly. You may notice that you feel better. These are all signs that your fertility is returning.
I work during the week. Are you open in the evenings or weekends?
Yes we are open in the evenings and weekends. Most people find our hours very convenient. Specifically we are open Wednesdays 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Thursdays 2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Fridays 9-5, Saturdays 9-5, Sundays 9-5.
